Now Hiring - Hotel Sales Manager/Director of Sales (Hilton Garden Inn Duluth) in Duluth, GA

We are looking for a high-performing, incredibly friendly, guest-focused Sales Manager/Director of Sales. In this position, you will fill a vital role by implementing the total sales and marketing efforts of the hotel, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, supervising sales activities and training within the hotel staff, and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction. (Pay will be based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets for hotel
• Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in order to produce group and/or convention business, to include room sales, food & beverage sales, catering/banquet services.
• Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
• Understand category-specific landscapes and trends

Skills/Experience

• Previous proven experience in the hotel industry as a Sales Executive, Sales Manager or Sales Director
• Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position property against competitors
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Hotel Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
• Hilton: 1 year (Preferred)
• Delphi/Saleforce: 1 year (Required)
• ONQ R&I: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Required)
