Houck Construction Inc is seeking an ambitious and energetic Sales Associate, with 2+ years of experience in a similar sales role and experience growing a client base. You will be a face of the company and will need the dedication to evolve and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through generating leads, boosting sales, and forging strong relationships with potential clients and industry professionals.
Role:
The Sales Associate generates construction and design leads and informs potential clients and industry professionals about our services. You will actively schedule meetings and follow ups with realtors, designers, architects, and other industry contacts to generate leads and referrals. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, self-driven and have excellent communication, networking, and sales skills.
You will help organize all incoming leads for your specified geographic area from intake through follow up to sale, actively communicating each through our Business Development Manager.
Total Compensation will be composed of base salary plus bonus structure that is weighted heavily on leads generated and contracts signed.
Location:
We are looking for individuals to generate leads in the following locations: Los Angeles South Bay Costal, Rancho Palos Verdes, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach.
Responsibilities:
- Contacting realtors, designers, architects, and other industry professionals to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new industry contacts.
- Developing your localized markets and improving sales.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Attending networking events.
- Work directly with Business Development Manager to determine sales goals and strategies.
Sales Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field desired.
- Experience in sales, marketing, or related field.
- Experience in real estate, architecture, or construction industries preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiar with CRM software.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
- Knowledge of construction and construction practices a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
