Turner Recruiting & Consulting is searching for a talented and professional Sales Manager!
We are looking for someone with high-end fashion experience that has successfully managed a retail store. This position is for an upscale boutique in the heart of West Knoxville. The ideal candidate has a passion for fashion, can masterfully pair items together, and can attend vendor events with the expertise needed to bring back stylish items for the store. This candidate should have a natural ability to connect with customers, provide a boutique experience, and have a leadership mentality. This manager should also be experienced in building teams, developing sales associates, and providing customers with luxury shopping experiences.
This is a full-time position with pay starting between $21-$23
Essential Duties Responsibilities:
- Customer Service
- Provide warm friendly customer service with a personal touch.
- Coach and train customer service mindset amongst sales associates.
- Anticipate and mitigate customer service issues.
- Handle escalated customer situations.
- Sales
- Selling will be a TOP priority.
- Develop sales associates that foster a welcoming sales environment and provide high-end customer service.
- Review daily sales with staff and lead sales meetings.
- Cultivate new customers.
- Implement Wish List program as well as helping obtain milestone dates and customer contact information.
- Explore partnering with other luxury companies that are a similar compliment to our brand (such as high-end jewelry stores) for event and sales opportunities.
- Management
- Supervise, train, and assist sales team in customer service, sales, store maintenance, and merchandising.
- Make sure all sales associates are following policies and procedures.
- Provide coaching opportunities when needed, as well as disciplinary actions.
- Business Development
- Observe sales trends and diagnose areas for improvement.
- Assist the store owner with inventory management, keeping up with restocking needs, and submitting purchase orders.
- Travel to shoe and clothing markets and take an active role in buying/ selecting inventory.
- Perform store merchandising, creatively and attractively display products.
- Seek opportunities to market, network, and build social media presence.
- Create sales and inventory reports.
- Build and manage strong vendor relationships.
- Administrative duties
- Open and close store.
- Perform periodic inventory counts.
- Manage schedules and time-off requests.
- Receive product deliveries, prepare new items for display, and update purchase orders in point-of-sale system.
- Ensure the store and stockroom remain clean, organized, and presentable.
- General operational management of the shop.
Requirements:
- Strong and proven retail sales background.
- Retail Management 5+yrs.
- Social Media experience – required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Have experience with entering orders, creating orders, and purchasing.
- Have an eye for detail.
- Be fashion forward with trends that are on point for our store’s demographics.
- Highly motivated, professional, and personable

Schedule will be: Mondays- Saturday (you will have the option to take Mondays off so you can have a Sunday/ Monday off together), 9:30-6:00pm.
