You will be a key component in our company, working hand-in-hand with the owner and the management team, to oversee our salespeople and help them succeed. You'll make suggestions on how to improve our sales processes in order to drive results and achieve goals that have been set, and spend time trying to work smarter, not harder, to ensure the sales department is efficient and effective, and our customers are satisfied.

Pay rate is depending on training and experience. It will have a base of $90k per year plus bonuses, based on company performance, that can take you to more than $150K per year

• Your main objective is to lead and manage our Sales Team to drive results and profitability.
• We’ll expect you to conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities, investigate customer needs and analyze industry trends.
• You’ll be responsible for analyzing sales data and metrics to assess the performance of your team and you will adjust strategies accordingly.
• Alongside the Leadership Team, you will create and implement effective sales plans that enable us to meet our goals as an organization.
• We’ll look to you to oversee, train and motivate a high-performing Sales Team, ensuring that the right talent is in place, and you’ll recruit people aligned with our mission and core values as we grow.
• It will be your responsibility to set clear expectations, provide ongoing coaching and conduct regular performance evaluations for the Sales Team.
• Our Sales Team will look to you as a leader, so you’ll set the right example by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes team cohesion and productivity.
• When challenges arise, you will guide and support your team members, assisting them in closing deals and resolving customer issues.

Sales Manager Skills & Qualifications

• Customer Service or Client Relationship Management experience
• Sales experience in Construction preferred
• Construction or Roofing experience is a plus!
• Marketing or Business Development experience a plus
• 2 years of management experience preferred
• Understanding of sales metrics and KPI’s
• Microsoft Excel expert preferred
• Willing to learn our CRM & sales pipeline software
• Valid driver’s license required and a driving record that meets our insurance company requirements.
