The Global Sr. Manager of Training role will be responsible for leading the facilitation, teaching, and learning of our unique MiTek value narrative within our sales organization. The leader will bring a proven track record in leading metrics, elevating the performance of their marketing and sales partners. This role will be critical in enhancing our customer experience by delivering content that moves customers to action, sharpening skills on overcoming objections, and driving win/win negotiating structure. Collaboration, alignment and standardization while dealing with ambiguity and disparate markets with global marketing, CX (Customer Experience), sales and other functions will be key. A familiarity with world-class concepts and third-party facilitators is important.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan, organize and track training activities required to support and improve key areas of sales effectiveness, including onboarding, product knowledge, competitive knowledge, and sales methodology.
  • Coordinate, and deploy all sales training programs/certifications – specifically around the sales process and sales methodologies, ensuring all sales team members are highly competent and confident in sales methodologies and sales cycle, as appropriate for each sales division.
  • Manage the implementation and continued education of sales methodologies, including the development and training of key differentiators for each level in the organization.
  • Work with sales leadership to oversee the onboarding and training of new sales hires.
  • Build and manage ongoing appropriate training curriculum in conjunction with other departments (product marketing, etc.) to increase effectiveness of the sales organization.
  • Develop training tools and documentation to support the training curriculum. Determine the best method for training delivery including online, webcasts, field sales training and onsite training.
  • Support overall company strategy to enhance adoption of appropriate sales tools to increase efficiency and productivity of the sales teams.

  • Assume responsibility for the planning, organization, development and completion of assigned projects as defined by the Vice President of Global Market Segment and Product Management.
  • Plan, organize and track training activities via metrics required to support sales leadership training and development.
  • Develop and employ sustainability methodologies to insure long term effectiveness of sales and leadership training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4-year college or university degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior sales management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales training position
  • Proven track record of internal and external team collaboration
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be highly organized
  • Proven management skills
  • Track record of leveraging CRMs with training metrics for success
  • Expertise in common sales models, overcoming objections and negotiations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven success with facilitation, presentation, leadership and planning
  • Proven ability to execute against objectives
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%-40% of the time domestically, and internationally as needed
