Full description of the position

Job Summary:
The Manager, Sales Operations position is responsible for managing a variety of matters related to ensuring optimal effectiveness & increased efficiency of the Sales Team. This position is responsible for managing activities and expectations related to day-to-day operations of the Sales Department to assist the team in meeting revenue goals. This position will be involved in the development, implementation & evaluation of timelines, reporting, monitoring renewal efforts, project management and identifying data-based opportunities to generate incremental & new sales revenue.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Manage, develop, motivate and provide strategic support to the Sales and Service team through process development & project management.
  • Assist Sales and Service teams with face-to-face renewal/sales presentations to clients, referral prospects and potential clients.
  • Work with department Director/VP to strategize and execute ideas and plans for generating incremental revenue from client base.
  • Develop effective tracking programs to ensure Sales and Service teams successfully meet their annual goals.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of business priorities, monitor team's progress and work with various departments to provide accurate forecasts and reports to management.
  • Execute proactive client service plan efforts for select Premium clients via outbound telephone, mail, email contact, face-to-face meetings and other systematic communication.
  • Work closely with Finance, Box Office, Administration and other departments on various initiatives and data collection.
  • Resolve routine and non-routine problems based on knowledge or priorities, policies, procedures, or practices; discreetly handle confidential information.
  • Prepare and assist with contracts, correspondence, reports, forms, sales materials, records and notes. Edit written work as needed to note missing or questionable data to maintain accurate communication and correspondence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Degree Preferred in fields such as Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of sales management training, supervising, coaching, and mentoring teams;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service & hospitality to internal and external client audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective follow up and project management expertise.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to drive results.
  • Proactive, solution oriented, organized and detail-oriented person who can prioritize and work independently.
  • Ability to consistently prioritize projects, meetings and fast-changing schedules while remaining productive and professional.
  • Ability to work with and adapt to various personalities to achieve a common goal.
  • Proficient computer skills using programs such as Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Ability to work varying schedules based on business needs of the company including some evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Experience working in music or entertainment industry.
