Position: Residential Territory Manager
Status: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:
- Primary focus on generating Carrier Great Lakes Residential product sales.
- Develop relationships with current dealers to maximize sales opportunities.
- Understand and communicate programs, promotions, and initiatives to all assigned dealers.
- Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan for your specific territory.
- Prospect, sell and develop new business where territory allows based on analyzing the current territory and market.
- Light commercial quoting as needed, maintain and update project quote files.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all Carrier Great Lakes products available.
- Interact with Carrier Great Lakes product managers and vendors to bring the latest product to your dealers.
Requirements:
- Degree in HVAC, Business, Marketing, Technical College, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year Territory Manager sales experience. HVAC experience a plus.
- Exceptional people skills, negotiation skills, enthusiasm, and leadership to motive, persuade, and inspire your dealers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills with common software literacy.
- Must be initiative-taking, confident, innovative, and solution oriented.
- Organizational and leadership ability to manage multiple tasks in a challenging environment.
- Elevated level of personal accountability; sense of urgency and self-initiative.
- Solid critical thinking, problem-solving and planning skills.
- Candidate must reside in the territory.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with HVAC contractors and dealers in Residential marketplace.
- Knowledge of a distribution environment.
