As the Regional Retail Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Store Managers to execute and deliver all sales, service, and operational programs. You’ll make a visible impact as a retail leader and business professional in driving your stores community relationships, merchandise sales, technical services portfolio, and business-to-business network. Regional Retail Sales Managers have the greatest impact on their teams through presence within their stores. It is expected that Regional Retail Sales Manager will spend 70% of their time in the field. This role reports to the Director of Retail Operations and partners closely with the Retail Operations Manager.
Provide strong leadership in community, customer service, sales, and team development.
- Responsible for a multi-store region to maximize sales, gross margin and inventory turns and deliver profitable growth of sales.
- Overall management to achieve customer satisfaction while supporting the development of a customer service culture in the stores.
- Oversee compliance of Store Managers with established Company policies and standards, HR practices, security, sales and record-keeping procedures, and overall maintenance of the stores by performing required audits.
- Develop store managers, keyholders and sales associates through coaching to provide helpful guidance and feedback in order to drive sales and achieve key performance indicators.
- Managing the region’s overall expenses to increase profitability.
- Review operational reports and records, monitor store profitability, manage payroll budgets, and develop long range goals and objectives.
- Coordinate sales promotion activities and pricing of merchandise to maximize sales.
- Coordinate new store openings and/or closing of existing locations.
- Inspect premises of stores to ensure that adequate security exists and that physical facilities comply with safety and environmental codes and ordinances
- Direct the planning, development, execution and monitoring of store business plans designed to meet or exceed sales and service objectives.
- Create a region-wide culture where all Store Managers, Keyholders and Sales Associates are engaged, trained, and empowered to create a world-class customer experience.
- Constantly evaluate workforce analytics to develop clear succession planning strategies and support Store Managers in creating talent strategies, staffing acquisition and staff level management to achieve and maintain store and regional operational requirements
Qualifications:
Essential skills and experience:
- A minimum of 6 - 10 years progressively responsible management and multi-unit experience in a retail environment.
- Proven track record of increasing sales and store profitability.
- Experience in revenue generation including the ability to analyze P&L and financial reports, ensuring key performance metrics are met.
- Strong skills in management strategy, staffing, performance management, associate relations, and associate development.
- Leadership and partnership that will inspire associate engagement and customer loyalty with the communities in which we serve and operate.
Preferred Skills And Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related experience in the field
Compensation:
Total compensation is $65,000-$90,000 (base+bonus), DOE
