About the job

Plant city smoke shop is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be energetic, have a positive attitude, and be able to provide customers with an outstanding shopping experience.

The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for providing products and services to customers in a store. They will greet customers as they enter the store, answer their questions about products, and recommend them specific items to purchase.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in customers upon arrival at Plant City, FL
• Provide customers with information about our products and services
• Maintain cleanliness of the retail space and the store entrance
• Perform cashier duties including accepting cash, operating register and issuing receipts
• Upsell products when appropriate
• Manage customer requests through inputting information into the CRM system or other systems/tools in order to provide customer experiences that exceed their expectations
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction

Skills

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as the role requires changing tasks frequently and adapting to new challenges as needed
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to operate a computer for processing paperwork and managing customer accounts with EMR (Enterprise Management) software systems such as Salesforce or similar software (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills - ability to multi-task and prioritize your work based on your priorities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
