PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To champion and deliver actionable insights to guide the sales and operations teams. Compile, analyze and report data to drive profitability and growth. Monitor competitive activity, customer, and market trends to keep Gallagher at the forefront and sell more effectively.
This individual will be a key driver of the Gallagher North American S&OP process to align demand and supply for future success. The forecasting process is another core fundamental this individual will support monthly across Sales, Operations and Finance teams.

- Identify opportunities for improvement and champion change, review process and system related designs and provide feedback where appropriate.
Commercial Oversight & Support
Liaise with Regional and Global Leadership Teams
Provide support for any agreements being entered into, head office management of contracts, review of business cases, and participate in post project reviews.
- Ensure effective and efficient commercial arrangements are being implemented by the Animal Management division with appropriate rigor, risk management within the division and for overall support of customers and quality of released products.
- Support the financial viability of the Animal Management business through robust commercial analysis, is innovative in approaches with a focus on developing new contracts and financial decisions.
- Provision of KPI measurement information (OKR’s) and reporting that will positively drive the profitability of the Animal Management division and can be used by the General Manager, Marketing Manager and Director of Sales, and Director of Key Accounts to better manage their businesses.
Measured by:
- Proactive constructive feedback on business case reviews provided.
- Inventory performance (Forecast accuracy, value, and stock turns)
- Agreed monthly and quarterly KPI measurement information produced (OKR’s)
Continuity of Product Supply
& Quality at the Lowest Cost
Works seamlessly with group operations and animal management teams to drive and foster a lean continuous improvement culture that will identify opportunities for and implement cost efficiency gains throughout the Gallagher supply chain to ensure that Gallagher is delivering on key customer focused delivery targets at the lowest practical “cost to serve”.- Ensure the ongoing Animal Management product supply and quality requirements are represented to the group operations and supply chain teams. This role will work with the Group S&OP Manager and Director of Supply Chain & Logistics.
- Ensure that forecasts are measured, and constant improvement actions are identified and acted upon.
- Communicate regularly with group Operations to ensure that the impact of any supply or quality issues is minimized and that relevant information is provided to affected customers.
Measured by:
- Informal feedback from key customers/distributors/ internal staff regarding service level and being easy to do business with.
- Cost to service measured by;
- Continuous improvement via lean assessments performed in partnership with group operations and regional teams.
- Measured cost savings achieved in cost to serve vs targets as agreed and resulting from lean assessments.
- Inventory stock turns and overall inventory / forecast performance
Project Management, CRM, Power BI and SPS Analytics
Key Project Management
- Assume project management duties of at least 1 key project at all times and be prepared to assume any special projects that arise.
- Ensure assigned tasks are kept updated and completed (to the best abilities).
- Become the subject matter expert on Power BI for Gallagher North America. Identify opportunities for Power BI to add value to the business and work with the NA team to promote in its use.
- Work closely with Head Office analytics teams to produce analytics tailored to the North American markets.
- Facilitate training in Power BI for the wider Gallagher North American team.
- Become the subject matter expert on SAP CRP. Manage CRM configuration, compliance, ongoing improvements, and communication changes as the system evolves. Promote its use and communication with the Gallagher North American team.
- Work effectively and efficiently within the project team environment to help ensure success of the project. This includes working on priority tasks first and assisting others in the completion of their tasks if necessary.
- Bring issues to the attention of the project team in a timely fashion, proposing solutions as appropriate.
- Be proactive in your communication.
- Work in a manner that enhances team spirit and overall team output, sharing knowledge and experience to help develop the team.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
- 3+ years Business Analyst with experience in gathering business process requirements
- Experience in commercial and business activities
Experience Required:
- Proven ability for extracting and documenting requirements
- Strong commercial acumen
- Mature understanding and ability to drive value sales in a premium product position
- Management of services delivery in a complex information technology environment
- Experience communicating across all levels of the organisation both verbal and written, including communicating with external customers
- Experience with information technology IoT and/or Animal Management industry markets
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
- Mastery Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to prepare complex statistical data and summarize relevant statistics in written reports and in the form of tables and graphs to assist with the decision making of superiors.
- Key account management/support skills
- Strong team leader
- Strong aptitude for or ideally a background in b2b animal management focused industries
- First class organizational and project management skills
