The Director of Business Development will execute strategies designed to generate, pursue, and close business with prospects that have been identified and assigned as strategic. He or she will also help identify new partnership opportunities that are in line with McNeill Hotel Company’s (MHC) strategic growth initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with EVP of Business Development to source, pitch, negotiate, and execute opportunities for McNeill Hotel Company to manage new Select Service, Extended Stay or Full-Service Hotels.
- Conduct site visits, perform due diligence, analyze operating projection and investment models, develop project support among internal stakeholders, and develop and deliver highly customized pitches and responses to Requests for Proposals
- Assess hotel management contract acquisition opportunities for value, operating plan, and investment metrics to determine fit for MHC owner partners.
- Identify and assess potential new markets, including development and implementation of strategies to target new clients for market entry.
- Build and grow relationships with internal and external stakeholders who enable MHC’s growth.
- This position requires 75+% travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors’ degree in business hotel management or a related field is desired.
- At least 4 years of progressive growth within a hotel-focused business development, brokerage, or investment environment.
- Prior work in business development with major hotel brands, brokerage companies, and/or management companies preferred.
- Must have a network of owners, lenders, investors, operators, consultants, asset managers, and other potential partners who can support MHC’s growth and success.
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of the hospitality development landscape.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $89,153.00 - $95,000.00 per year
