JOB TITLE: Catering Sales Lead (TX, MO, KS)

DEPARTMENT: Operations

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

OTHER: Full Time

POSITION: This position will report directly to the Manager, Catering Sales at HQ.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generating local customers in area and becoming more integrated in the community

• Minimum reach of at least 15 new businesses per day

• Follow up with customers after every order to ensure satisfaction

• Work with Catering Coordinators to ensure all orders that are delivered include materials to encourage future orders

• Identify opportunities to make in person visits to local businesses and employers to seek out new catering business

• Planning and preparing orders by maintaining an organization system of supplies and calendar of orders in the store. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized area for the staging of all upcoming orders

• Ensure all orders are received and entered both into EZ Cater and the Brink Point of Sale

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to effectively manage multiple catering projects simultaneously

• Ability to problem-solve and operate in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Experience with CRM and order entry software

• Must maintain a valid driver's license

• Excellent interpersonal communication, documentation, and organization skills.

• Expected to take initiative, forward thinking and provide long term solutions to issues that arise.

EDUCATION:

• No formal education required, no prior food experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the job's essential functions. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
