POSITION OVERVIEW

The Acquisition Specialist role is a valuable part of the Rebuilt sales team. You will be responsible for making outbound or taking inbound calls, emailing, and chatting with a prospective seller as their first point of contact with us. As these interactions unfold, you will skillfully build rapport while gathering and analyzing information about their property. You will also document what you’ve learned along the way and then set qualified appointments before passing this opportunity on to your in-market colleague.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads engaging interactions with prospective sellers
  • Greet, build rapport, and ask questions to obtain property details
  • Navigates different prospective seller styles and encourages them to converse around their prospective property
  • Warmly, but directly broaches challenging topics like motivation, price, and other expectations
  • Uses critical thinking skills to evaluate information and make the right qualifying decisions in real-time, based on the Rebuilt Sales Process and other Sales Support resources
  • Carefully documents and communicates important information obtained from a prospective seller to ensure a smooth hand-off to Market Manager colleagues
  • Smartly structures working hours to address immediate, time-sensitive opportunities first and then transition to other important tasks such as lead follow-up or tracking down property owners
  • Researches and evaluates market and property data from different sources
  • Analyzes these different data points to make the right qualifying decisions for Rebuilt
  • Well-versed in using systems, platforms, and scheduling (calendars) to advance opportunities


  • A passion for the real estate industry and a desire for continual learning within the industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • A desire to help people together with inner confidence and resolve to navigate challenges, steer conversations and get results
  • Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects, handle frequent changes effectively and professionally, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Must be interested in developing research and communication skills
  • Previous experience in sales or telemarketing preferred, but not required
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, internet research, organization, and communication skills
  • Effective decision-making skills and an ability to execute under pressure
  • Proficiency in common computer applications, including G-Suite and Microsoft Office
