Product Sales Specialist

About Us: We are a rapidly growing biotechnology company with a vast portfolio of equipment and instrumentation used by scientists in life science research. Our customer base includes a large network of distributors who ultimately resell our products to leading academic, government, and private industry-based research institutions.

Key product lines include: Centrifuges, Incubators/Temperature Control Instrumentation and Mixing/Shaking equipment

Who we seek: We are seeking a highly motivated individual that has prior experience with laboratory instruments and is interested in beginning (or continuing) a career in inside-sales/marketing. In this role you will be responsible for communicating the features and benefits of our products to our various authorized distributors to detail how our products outmatch the competition.

Required Qualifications:

- Strong work ethic / competitively driven

- Friendly, customer-service focused individual with the ability to present to groups.

- Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

- Strong oral and written communications skills.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities include:

- Daily communication (written and verbal) with distributors to assist in the sales support of our product lines.

- Intimate knowledge of our portfolio as well as those of our competitors.

- Review of our distributor website and marketing material to improve/attain positioning of our products

- Attending trade and vendor shows as requested.

- Scheduling occasional workdays in the field with our sales force

Additional primary responsibilities would include:

Building and maintaining our sales support materials to assist in the sales of our products, including:

o Product Literature and promotional content

o Competitive product analysis

o Product announcements and promotions

o Product web content

Overall, the position would entail mastering the features and benefits of our product lines and utilizing this knowledge to equip our distributor sales reps with the information required to increase sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
