Retail Sales Manager - Sales Operations (Hybrid) in Pittsburgh, PA
As a Manager - Sales Operations, you will be responsible for driving standardization, improving efficiencies, and expanding productivity of Wesco’s sales organization and its interactions with internal and external groups. Be the subject matter expert of existing processes and train on new processes and systems that are implemented. Create and maintain effective reporting to drive desired behaviors and monitor performance.
Responsibilities:
- Hold teams accountable for executing established processes, ensure control requirements are maintained and that utilization of various tools is at targeted levels.
- Core areas of focus include but are not limited to the following: unreserved customer inventory, p-card reconciliation, aged accounts receivable, contract pricing accuracy, internal audit compliance, timely updates of customer master data, customer relationship management (CRM) utilization
- Work with all levels within the sales team as well as internal support teams to identify ways to improve processes, improve service to customers, drive profitable sales growth and expand margin.
- Create and implement uniform processes to allow for evaluation of performance of sales professionals.
- Coach and train the sales force and internal support teams.
- Active participant in multiple corporate initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- 6 years of relevant experience in a matrix environment.
- 4 years experience in managing against budgets, including sales and profit growth.
- 3+ years experience as a team lead or sales leader.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Sense of urgency and deadline driven.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates attention to detail/organization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Ability to influence and lead change in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
