Rich’s Modern Flooring is looking for a Sales Associate. Our company sells and installs all types of flooring including: Carpet, vinyl, hardwood, laminate and ceramic tile. This Sales Associate will assist customers, builders, and contractors throughout their entire flooring process.

This is a full time position which includes some Saturdays.

Pay: Depending on experience

Job Description:

• Explain product to customers and assists them in selection of floor coverings
• Perform onsite measurements – Must take accurate measurements
• Diagram and figure square footage and yardage including pattern matches
• Create estimates
• Order materials
• Follow up with clients after installation for quality control
• Maintain the showroom
• Dress in business casual clothing with professional appearance
• Interior design experience and/or floor covering experience preferred

• Flooring background & sale experience
• Good natured cooperative attitude
• Dependable transportation & insurance
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and honest

• Possess basic mathematical knowledge and abilities
