Description:Our Sales Associates are the glue to our business at Boot Country and have a passion for customer service and enjoy providing the best possible experience for our guests. If you like interacting with people face to face, enjoy a fast paced environment, have the ability to work well in a team environment, then we need to meet you! Hourly rate of $18.00 hour, plus you have the ability to increase your hourly rate by $2-$3 per hour with bonus incentives. We also pay for parking!
You must have the ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule which includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must be able to wear western boots while working and have excellent social and communication skills

Essential Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

• Ensure that each Guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of service.
• Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, and advertisements.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
• Assist in processing and restocking merchandise.
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices including signage, pricing, and loss prevention.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions.
• Communicate Guest requests to management.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:Essential Physical Requirements: (Lifting up to 60 pounds, bending, climbing, reaching, and standing/walking for the entire shift)

• Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
• Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
• Ability to climb ladders, when needed to retrieve stock.
• Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-60 pounds.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates

Essential Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as company manual.
• Ability to interact with customers. Strong communication skills are a must.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions.

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
