The Procurement Product Specialist will assist with the development of procurement and acquisition documentation.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

• Monitor the timely completion of acquisition packages.
• Provide advice and guidance about tools and methods to facilitate accurate and timely acquisition tracking and reporting.
• Provide advice and recommendations on changes to existing acquisition policies and procedures to meet federal regulations and to ensure efficient and effective acquisition activities.
• Assist program offices in developing and preparing the documentation needed for a complete acquisition package.
• Develop and prepare pre-award Performance Work Statements (PWSs) Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objective (SOO), and other requirements documents.
• Conduct market research to identify potential sources and contract vehicles.
• Prepare independent government cost estimates (IGCEs).
• Develop and prepare acquisition plans, including approaches, options, strategies, risks, contracting methods, competition, sources, cost, milestone schedule, etc.
• Provide advice and assistance in developing justifications to support other than full and open competition, including approaches, options, strategies, risks, contracting methods, impact on small business, etc.
• Develop and prepare evaluation criteria, technical evaluation plans, and source selection plans.
• Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
