Full description of the position

Community Association Managers (CAM) are responsible for the daily management of their assigned communities. They are a brand ambassador, managing the requirements of the association board of directors and the needs of each individual community as well as building relationships. Community Managers serve as liaisons between association boards and legal counsel regarding covenant violations, attend board meetings, and prepare manager reports and financial summaries to boards on a monthly basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide written reports to boards regarding site visits
  • Coordinate with Collections Department to ensure effective assessment collection and follow the Collection Policy adopted by the Board
  • Review late notices and A/R reports with regard to ongoing delinquencies
  • Coordinate insurance claims on associations’ behalf
  • Manage maintenance request, repair, and replacement programs, and project coordination
  • Assist the board in developing rules and regulations
  • Manage vendor proposals, contracts review, and renewal, and prepare bid comparisons as required
  • Attend Board meetings, take notes and prepare meeting minutes for Board review and approval and record in CommunityPro®; provide to division leader as required
  • Provide board and homeowner training on CommunityPro®

REQUIREMENTS:

  • CAM License required (in some states)
  • Previous Community Management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
