We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Buy Here Pay Here Finance Company Account Manager/Collector and Loan Underwriter. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, collecting payments, and underwriting loan applications for customers seeking to purchase vehicles through our in-house financing program. Your goal will be to ensure timely payments, minimize delinquencies, and approve loans that meet our lending criteria.

Responsibilities:

• Review loan applications and underwrite loans in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Analyze credit reports, income verification documents, and other relevant information to assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate completion of loan applications and supporting documents
• Manage customer accounts and ensure payments are made on time
• Contact customers to remind them of upcoming payments and to collect any outstanding balances
• Negotiate payment arrangements with customers who are experiencing financial difficulties
• Process payments and update account information in our computer systems
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and account activity

Someone With the following Skills is most likely to succeed in this position

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• Direct experience in a customer service, collections, or account management role
• Direct experience in loan underwriting and credit analysis
• Knowledge of collection laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other windows applications
