Detailed Description:
He or she is self-sufficient, needs minimal supervision/direction, makes sound decisions, resolves issues, and thinks outside the box while leveraging new technologies. Possessing a "can-do" attitude, the East Coast Sales Manager has an innovative spirit and uses his/her knowledge/experience to uncover new, enhanced and more cost effective ideas.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Champion both the direct sales efforts in assigned territories to specific market segments and work directly with customer market segments.
- Generate direct sales and develop customers within a specified territory.
- Train customers, and other personnel in the company's product lines, operation, and features/benefits.
- Attend regional sales meetings as needed.
- Attend and coordinate regional and national trade shows.

Recommend new product changes as well as other new product ideas. Meet sales objectives and supply forecasting information on a monthly basis. Submit monthly and quarterly accomplishment reports.
Submit expense reports on a timely basis.
- Develop and maintain competitive manufacturer's profiles and report on their activity each month.
- Ensure that all business conducted in the region is consistent with the company's mission statement and standard of ethics practices.
- Extensive travel is required.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of capital sales experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work under time restraints, and manage costs and resources.
Salary: Exempt-employee, pay is DOE with commission plan-will discuss upon interview.

Experience
Required- 3 - 10 years: Must have at least 3 years minimum capital sales experience.
