Outstanding growth potential and flexibility for a proven hunter who can identify opportunities and close deals. We are looking for a driven Territory Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic territory of a leading industrial manufacturer selling into municipal customers.

Qualified candidates will currently reside in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or New York and have experience selling engineered products directly to municipalities.

The successful Territory Sales Manager will be a disciplined prospector and hunter with strong technical aptitude and results orientation who is capable of prioritizing strategic goals while developing new market opportunities and negotiating and closing deals. Experience in potable water industry strongly preferred.

Requirements:

• 4-year degree in related field required. Advanced degree/certifications a plus.
• Proven experience in industrial sales with municipal customers required.
• Potable water industry experience with sales exposure to contractors and municipalities strongly preferred.
• Successful record of prospecting and hunting for new sales opportunities, identifying key stakeholders and decision makers, and overcoming gatekeepers to make compelling pitches that win business.
• Demonstrated success in generating specifications, negotiating and closing deals, and educating/training customers and service providers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and CRM software.
• Ability to travel Regionally up to 60%.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $91,023.00 - $100,579.00 per year
