Summary:
This position is a diverse technical sales and customer relationship role. Responsibilities will include technical sales of water transfer, water sales, pipeline construction and other water management solutions. This position will develop and sustain effective customer relations and serve as Account Executive to shale gas industry customers in addition to industrial and municipal accounts.

Education/Qualifications:
Essential:
1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, management, or a technical field,
AND/OR:
2. Up to 5 years related sales / business development or management experience, including technical sales and project management.
Requirements/Skills:
Essential:
1. Strong sales and relationship management skills.
2. Sales aptitude and ability to successfully conduct sales, marketing and business development actions to serve existing customers and to sustain and grow revenues with existing and new customers.
3. Track record of meeting and exceeding sales and performance goals, demonstrated accomplishments at successful selling and closing of new business and renewal business.
4. Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills;
5. Ability to develop and sustain effective customer relations and serve as an account executive to assigned shale gas industry customers.
6. Proficient MS Office skills, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
7. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
8. Knowledge of the shale gas exploration, development, and production industry.
9. Ability to travel regularly, including overnight travel.
10. Valid driver’s license.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Obtain new business awards from new and existing customers, with portfolio of service offerings to include water supply, water transfer, pipeline construction, operation and maintenance services, transportation, and storage tank rentals and sales.
- Serve as the Account Executive to key customers, representing the Company to serve and sustain and grow existing business relationship(s).
- Plan and conduct sales, marketing and business development actions to serve existing customers, add new customers, expand operating geography, and to grow revenues. • Prepare and issue final written proposals, work plans, detailed cost estimates (e.g., via linked spreadsheets), work orders, contracts and proposals to customers.
- Employ use of smart technology and information systems (e.g., CRM tools, etc.) to improve operating efficiencies and cost-effectiveness.
- Employ keen risk analysis and risk management skills to achieve successful project and revenue outcomes.
- Contributes to the total effectiveness of the business development department, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member.
- Stay current with client needs, competition and industry trends.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May manage subordinate employees or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
