The Director of Sales Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that drive revenue growth for the company. This is a highly collaborative, strategic role that partners across the organization to maximize effectiveness of the field sales organization through strategic analytics, strategy development and execution tactics.

Job Responsibilities:

The Director of Sales Operations will be responsible for the following:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
    • Sales strategies and plans to exceed bookings targets
    • Partner with Sales Enablement & Product Marketing to look at market trends and consider competitive insight to feed sales approach
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales to overall business strategy
  • Sales Analytics:
    • Build pro-active revenue operations analytics and constantly evaluate data to inform sales execution
    • Feed sales leaders insights from the data
  • Sales Operations Management:
    • Develop sales metrics to evaluate sales effectiveness
    • Develop or enhance sales process, procedures, practices that drive sales efficiency and effectiveness
    • Sales lead and opportunity flow definition and adherence
    • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline health management, sales reporting
    • Incentive plan design and effectiveness
  • Sales Technology:
    • Own the sales tech stack and automation software and tools

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in sales operations or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading teams in areas of sales operations, finance, sales, sales training
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the health IT space with a focus on modern systems to solve tomorrow's information and insight challenges
  • A proven track record of success in providing strategic guidance and operational oversight in Sales Operations within a technology sales environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with sales data and metrics
  • Experience managing sales budgets and forecasts
  • Ability to lead and motivate a sales operations team
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with executive-level stakeholders.
