Frito Lay is PepsiCo’s snack manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit. You will learn about our business model, our processes and gain the experience of how to influence cross-functionally while leading and developing a team of sales professionals. In this role, you will benefit from a 12-month program which begins with 4-6 months of structured onboarding allowing you the opportunity to acclimate to PepsiCo's fast-paced environment. This will build strong foundational knowledge while also increasing ownership and responsibility within the role to set you up for success.
Responsibilities
The Sales Director Designate will be responsible for leading the account management responsibilities for our PepsiCo national customer Dollar General Team. This is an exciting role as the Sr Manager Customer Sales Designate will be a part of growing snacks category. The qualified candidate will have excellent strategic selling and negotiating capabilities along with the ability to influence and wire across all levels of the organization. This is a very fast paced environment which requires strong time management and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities for a Sales Sr Manager Designate Include:
- Be the PepsiCo contact for Dollar General’s Snacks Category Team and Merchant
- Team for Frontend/Single Serve placement/implementation
- Influence Dollar General as indispensable partner and advisership for Frontend
- Evolution delivering advantaged solutions for total PepsiCo
- Lead, Track and Audit all of PEP Frontend Solutions to ensure requisite ROI
- Develop and Deploy PEP Value PPA (price pack architecture) strategy in collaboration with PEP leadership teams
- Lead, Track and Audit all of PEP Value PPA to ensure requisite ROI
- Recommend improvements and implement new processes and programs where necessary
- Support full year customer negotiation and JBP agenda

Qualifications
- BS Degree Required (MBA a plus)
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite
- Minimum of 8-10 years of customer selling experience; preferability with CPG company
- CPG experience in a direct store delivery environment
- Knowledge and deep understanding of the retail industry; preferably within the C&G channel
- Strong Negotiation, Analytical, Prioritization, Interpersonal, Problem-solving, project management, and planning skills
- Compelling interpersonal skills with the ability to craft powerful and persuasive messages
- Dedication and ability to succeed within a dynamic organization
- Business & financial acumen
- Expertise with expense management and/or managing a P&L
