Full description of the position

Our Inside Account Manager responds to customer and potential account needs and serves as an extension of our Outside Sales reps by providing information on pricing, product knowledge, purchase locations, and market-related information. This position requires a team approach, working cross functionally with the Supply Chain, Production, Billing and Shipping departments to deliver customer satisfaction and improve sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Operates as the lead point of contact and manages all administrative aspects for assigned account customers
• Gains a thorough understanding of Palram's product lines to ensure the proper selection of product for customer’s applications
• Works within assigned parameters to provide first call resolution to customers and independent sales representatives
• Processes and manages submitted orders for accurate customer specifications and order entry
• Identifies customer trends and new sales opportunities; works cross-functionally with internal departments on plans to maximize sales performance and customer experience
• May travel occasionally for customer meetings and events
• Responsible to perform other duties and activities as directed

Qualifications or Requirements

• 3+ years of Inside Sales, Customer Service or Account Management
• Energetic and positive attitude
• Good conflict resolution skills and ability to react professionally to a diverse range of customer interactions
• An analytical and accomplished problem-solver with strong critical reasoning skills
• Possesses solid basic math skills
• Demonstrated work ethic with solid organization skills and project management ability
• Ability to work well with others with a team approach
• Computer skills to include an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) along with ability to adapt to internal ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
