Now Hiring - Apco Signs - Manufacturing APCO DC Regional Sales Manager in Lanham, MD

We are looking for a Sales Representative to grow sales in the assigned territory in a manner that protects and strengthens APCO reputation in the sign industry for excellence in product and service.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish APCO as the premier source for architectural signing and displays in the territory.
• Pursue new sources of business.
• Building relationships with clients and customers.
• Build long-term relationships with all who influence buying decisions: Designers, Architects, Facility Managers, Property Managers, General Contractors and select Sign Companies.
• Be the liaison between end users and the Sales Support Team at APCO.
• Present APCO's AIA Continuing Education Classes to designers and architects in the territory that work in our markets (higher education, government, healthcare, corporate, etc.).
• Make Product Presentations in conjunction with AIA CEUs and whenever requested or accepted.
• Oversee development and presentation of sales proposals, budgets, samples, etc.
• Provide timely Sales Projection Reports, Call Reports and Expense Reports.
• Build relationships with major influencers in the territory.
• Any additional duties that may be required to reach objective.

Necessary Skills and Training:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good organizational skills
• Detail Oriented
• Valid driver's license and Excellent Driving Record
• Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects.
• Ability to read and interpret customer supplied documents for pricing and sample specification purposes.
• Sign Industry Knowledge or ability to learn quickly.
