Retail Sales Sales and Support Specialist in Saint Louis, MO
The Sales and Support Specialist is responsible for performing the day-to-day operational activities required to maintain service excellence for established accounts while promoting high satisfaction relationships with both existing and new clients. This role also supports the Inside Sales Team and the Automation Team for order entry and project management.
This position will report to the Vice President of East Region.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Customer accounts by being the passionate and flexible first point of contact.
- Act as a Customer advocate internally to develop business growth.
- Manages multiple accounts, tasks, and projects in an extremely fast paced environment.
- Manage phone calls and correspondence and place orders when necessary.
- Support larger projects for order entry and expedite functions.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required. Business or marketing discipline preferred.
· Experience working with electrical contractors preferred. Is a plus.
· Problem solver – able to creatively generate solutions with internal and external teams.
· 5 years of sales management experience
· Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of the organization, with the ability to handle a diverse and significant workload.
· Ability to communicate professionally and concisely both verbally and in writing.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred.
· Ability to drive new business opportunities with new clients.
