BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospects for potential new clients within our target market. o Natural Stone Retailers o Natural Stone Wholesalers o Commercial, Residential Builders, Developers and Construction Projects

• Cold Call on, and markets to, prospective clients.
• Follows up and qualifies sales leads.
• Follows up with existing accounts on behalf of the company to ensure the customer is receiving good customer service.
• Makes professional presentations on our Natural Stone product line.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key customer personnel,
• Identifies client needs.
• Provides quotes and product data as needed by customers.
• Assists in closing sales and follows through to assure appropriate delivery.
• Works with Sales Team managers to grow the business.
• Completes internal reports and paperwork in a timely fashion.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in professional-level business to business sales, preferably experienced in Natural Stone, but not necessary.
• A proven track record of successful sales in a wholesale environment.
• Ability to cold call on prospective clients.
• A strong knowledge of one or more of the following products lines: Travertine and Marble Tiles and Slabs; Travertine and Marble Pavers and Copings; and Mosaics.

• Willingness and ability to travel to service different areas.
• Occasionally lift and move up to 45 pounds.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
