Industrial Electric Switchgear and Transformer Sales Applications Engineer

• Five years of electrical switchgear and transformer equipment experience is required
• A four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or an additional five years of electrical switchgear and transformer equipment experience is required
• Five years of experience performing electrical estimating and/or performing industrial electrical project management is required
• Five years of experience with electrical controls, industrial automation and/or electrical distribution is required
• Pay is up to $100,000
• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
• After training is complete, the successful candidate could work remotely two days per week
• Full-time
• Permanent W-2 employee

• Located in the Fitchburg, Wisconsin area

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:

• Participating in estimate, proposal, process and project development
• Reviewing customer switchgear requests
• Creating a building layout
• Creating a detailed Request For Quote
• Performing calculations
• Assisting estimators
• Participating in project related meetings
• Sharing technical expertise and providing tech support as needed

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

• Five years of electrical switchgear and transformer equipment experience
• A four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or an additional five years of electrical switchgear and transformer equipment experience
• Five years of experience performing electrical estimating and/or performing industrial electrical project management
• Five years of experience with electrical controls, industrial automation and/or electrical distribution
• Possess strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or green card holder
• Have a residence within a 45-minute drive
