Florida Insurance Concepts, a privately owned Insurance Brokerage, is looking for a General Managing Agent in the Viera/Melbourne area. The position is the Agent in Charge filed with the State of Florida. The General Managing Agent reports to the Exec VP of Business Development and the Owner.

The interested candidate should possess a valid 2-20 and 2-15 licenses, up-to-date on industry changes and challenges, experienced in managing a staff, combination of on-site and remote, be a positive and motivational leader, excellent communication and presentation skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities in this position include, but not exhausted to:

• Manage carrier contracts, E&O, management system and rating software
• Maintain knowledge on the company's Book of Business
• Prepare monthly reports
• Prepare sales presentations for educating and generating leads
• Acquire new carrier appointments
• Schedule, prepare and run weekly sales meetings and other trainings as needed
• Renew all 4-40's licenses
• Manage Continuing Education
• Responsible for Business Growth and Development and generating leads to meet those goals
• Meet with carrier sales and territory Representatives
• Manage all staff and daily operations of the office.

Additional requirements:

• Minimum 5 years-experience in all lines of insurance
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong organizational skills
• Independent/Self motivating
• Experience/knowledge with Applied EPIC is a plus
• Experience/knowledge with Quote Rush is a plus.
