Qualifications and Requirements:

Licensed 220 Insurance Agent in Florida

1 year of experience selling primarily small commercial products

Professional communicator in both spoken and written mediums

Competitive, driven and ambitious

Punctual and reliable

Works well in a team environment

Must be willing to attend networking events on behalf of the agency.

College degree preferred but work experience can be substituted

Role Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for commercial lines insurance sales within the agency.

They will be responsible for building a network of business owners and referral partners through directed marketing efforts.

The role will consult with prospective clients to determine their commercial and business insurance needs

The Commercial Insurance Account Executive will search the market for products that are suitable to meet the clients specific needs and requirements.

Once the Account Executive has identified a suitable product they will work with the client to complete all required applications, submit trailing documentation to underwriters and subsequently bind the chosen product.

This role will periodically cross-sell their client base with other products that may help them to protect their business.

Hours:

The role is scheduled for M-F, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00-6:00.

Compensation:

Total Projected Comp for Year 1: $60,000-$90,000+ (subject to performance)

$50,000 base salary

+Strong New Business Commission Structure (uncapped)

+Up to $12,000/year in potential production bonuses (paid monthly)
