Murphy Bros, a 40-year-old family operated design/build firm serving the Twin Cities area, has an immediate opening for a Design Build Consultant. Our proprietary four step process has helped us grow to become the area's most trusted full-service residential remodeling company.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales and gross margin budget
• Respond to new leads, executing the Company sales process while offering remodeling solutions that solve our clients' needs
• Create well-written contracts and scopes, ensuring that plans, budgets, bids, selections, and scope are in alignment
• Solicit, collect, and review trade partner bids and create accurate estimates
• Utilize design acumen and intuition to create functional spaces

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education and trade certifications preferred

• 10+ years of experience in residential remodeling, estimating, fieldwork, residential design, and/or residential project management
• Solid understanding of construction materials, techniques, and costs
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations
• Ability to analyze project requirements, read blueprints, and develop accurate cost estimates
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other trades and construction professionals
• Proficient in technology
