Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Application Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Application Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting customers in applying power and temperature controllers for their processes by leveraging Control Concepts' expertise in precision power control to improve the customers' processes, yield, product performance and quality. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and create innovative solutions. Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand their business needs

- Utilizing technical skills to solve the customer's process and control issues with both standard and custom designed solutions.

- Assist customers in troubleshooting their application and the use of SCR power controllers.

- Respond to requests for quotations (RFQs), including product configuration.

- Answering application requests, programming and setup questions.

- Process incoming orders and calls.

- Assist in writing and publishing technical white papers featuring Control Concepts' technology.

- Creating and maintaining documentation.

- Editing and maintaining materials on the company website.

- Work closely with Manufacturers Representatives by providing training and technical support.

- Be able to travel to job site when required domestically and internationally (20%)

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in application development

Skills:

- Must be able to read electrical circuit diagrams.

- Application of temperature controllers, thermocouples, tuning, experience and understanding.

- Analytical ability is very important in troubleshooting applications on the phone.

- Must have basic understanding of electrical circuits including single phase and three phase power.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and presenting technical information

- Proficiency in the operation and use of Microsoft based communications.

- Background in troubleshooting of industrial equipment is a strong advantage for this position.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or technician with three years industry experience, or equivalent technical experience.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
