Overview

As an Account Executive at OnTheGoMedia, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and maintaining client relationships. You will be responsible for selling advertising; both broadcast airtime and digital assets; and maintaining relationships with local businesses, developing advertising campaigns, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of marketing principles. A passion for client satisfaction and desire to grow is more valuable than experience for this position.

General Responsibilities

  • Prospect, pitch, and secure advertising contracts with local businesses, agencies, and advertisers.
  • Develop and implement effective advertising campaigns tailored to meet the needs and objectives of clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, meetings, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to design compelling and impactful advertising solutions for clients.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate advertising rates and terms to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Work closely with internal departments such as sales support, production, and traffic to ensure smooth execution of advertising campaigns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue projections.

This position may require occasional travel for client meetings, industry events, and conferences. Flexible work hours may be necessary to accommodate client needs and sales opportunities. The compensation package may include base salary, commission, and possibly other incentives based on performance.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver sales presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Applications (Docs, Sheets, GMail, Slides).
  • A positive attitude, resilience, and a drive for achieving results.
