Full description of the position

Our company, a distributor of important manufacturers which offer the widest line of forklifts and accessories is looking for an Outdoor Sales Representative in Vernon.

Schedule: 9 am - 6 pm, Monday till Friday.

Location: Office in Vernon and outdoor activities.

Salary: Base salary+comission or commission-based.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and expand the current customer database and update it daily.

2. Develop strong working relationships with customers to ensure long-term collaboration.

3. Conduct sales activities in a defined, geographical territory.

4. Generate "Cold Calls" to develop new accounts and add them to a database.

5. Prepare and send quotes, purchase orders, collection, clarifications and all related paperwork to customers and follow up on the clients.

6. Follow up on the proposals until the result and provide post-sales services.

7. Provide track orders, customer payments, billing requests, preparation and delivery of equipment to customers.

8. Prepare reports of your commercial activity such as contacts, projects, advances, and sales results according to your immediate supervisor.

9. Actively use our CRM system HubSpot.

10. Become a part of customer trade associations and groups to promote our company, products and services.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. High School Graduate or equivalent; College preferred.

2. Previous sales experience, preferably in the material handling market.

3. Good mechanical knowledge.

4. Computer skills include the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Email.

5. Great written and oral communication skills.

6. Must have a valid California drivers license, auto insurance and a good driving record.

7. Comprehensive Toyota material handling product knowledge would be helpful.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
