American Global Security, a reputable security services company operating in Southern California, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Sacramento. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record in service sales.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 years or more experience in service sales
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills (email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experts in customer relationships, conflict resolution, negotiation, and customer service
- Excellent persuasion skills
- High level of work ethic and attendance
- Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, proof of insurance
Job Duties:
- Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of leads
- Identify decision-makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process
- Penetrate all targeted accounts
- Collaborate with Account Executive and owners to determine necessary sales strategies
- Cultivates new leads through referrals, company-provided leads, past customers, and cold calling.
- Maintain and expand the companys CRM database of customers & prospects
- Prepare RFP responses to potential clients
- Support marketing efforts such as trade shows and other events
- Make outbound follow-up calls via telephone and emails, and direct mailing.
- Attend sales meetings in person and training sessions as directed by management.
- Prepare post-order for new clients
- Conduct quality face-to-face sales presentations to new customers.
- Required to meet potential clients throughout southern California
- Generating leads through prospecting and building a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals for new business
- Generate and develop new client accounts to increase revenue
