Job Summary

While this is an inside sales position, your job title will be an applications engineer. We are looking for an intelligent and outgoing inside sales representative that enjoys helping customers and doing more than just order entry. An inside salesperson is responsible in helping customers in selecting the correct product for their application and working with vendors and our own shop in ensuring the customer is taken care of. We do not expect for the candidate to have any knowledge about safety valves as it is a very niche type of valve so you will undergo extensive training when hired and will continue to learn while on the job.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Understand customer needs and requirements while working with them in selecting the correct product for their application.
• Deal with any customer complaints or warranty issues
• Make outgoing calls to generate new sales
• Working with our shop on orders and repairs to ensure the orders are on schedule and ship when promised

Qualifications and Skills

• BA/BS degree or equivalent. An emphasis in engineering or computer science is definitely a plus but not necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Basic computer skills required, especially knowledgeable in excel.
• Basic math skills are a must.
• Need to be a quick learner and have a good attitude
