Full description of the position

Description:
Reports To: Corporate Truck Sales Manager

Job Summary:
The primary function of the position is to support Palmer Trucks sales functions in the heavy duty and medium duty truck. This includes territory management, inventory and asset management, the sales transaction and the post sale record keeping and followup.

Essential Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities for the position on a daily, weekly or annual basis.

Sales Support

Provide assistance with territory management and lead generation

Salesforce specialist and data management coach

Work as a team with the sales staff to increase productivity

Assist sales representative in their clerical and customer service responsibilities

Assist sales team with Account (customer) management

Inventory Management

Assist sales team with inventory management and online advertising

Review and submit new truck orders and change orders via Premierspec

Communication with Kenworth and other Palmer departments

Communication with outside vendors on status of upfits

Sales Transaction

Provide necessary documentation for the sales transaction for the customer also know as the deal jacket.

Responsible for required title tax and legal accurate documentation for truck deals

Responsible for additional documentation for funding and accounting purposes including vendor invoices, commissions, schedules.

After the sale support

Registration of retail, warranty, and Truck Tech +

Position requires a high school diploma, valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Minor Travel may be required to visit the branches on a bi monthly basis.

Position will be an in office position.

2 to 3 years data input and data analysis work experience.

General Microsoft Product Knowledge Specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Basic Database and CRM Software knowledge and navigation
