Full description of the position

We are looking for a Commercial Lines Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Commercial Lines Operations Coordinator who will have the unique opportunity to be responsible for the day-to-day account management of some of our most important clients, as well as being a key driver in maximizing the operational efficiencies of the business. If you enjoy managing accounts but want to expand your knowledge of brokerage operations, this position is the perfect fit for you. In this critical role, you will partner with the SVP of Brokerage Operations to oversee processes and manage the impact and delivery of change while maximizing process efficiencies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical expertise in coordinating the servicing of new and existing clients through the usage of our agency management system in accordance with the company workflows, procedures and best practices.
  • Produce and monitor various reports to ensure all policies have been renewed in a timely manner, adherence to service standards, and review team members workloads, including backlog.
  • Identify areas lacking efficiency and propose technological and innovative solutions.
  • Establish & maintain productive working relationships with all producers and senior management.
  • Managing onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Work closely with the Logan Support Team to support the continued growth of the team and ensure collaboration with the Account Managers.
  • Manage 1-3 mid-market accounts across multiple producers.
  • Manage audit process of employee work product and adherence to Poms standards and procedures.
  • Travel to the Operations Center in Logan, Utah, every 4-6 weeks.
  • Identify, plan, and resolve department coverage and workload issues.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 7 years property/casualty multi-line commercial experience required
  • Insurance Skills Required (we will not accept applicants without prior insurance experience): At least 2 years agency operations or carrier equivalent (Product or Claims Team leads), and in-depth knowledge of how agency management systems drive the renewal process workflow
  • Experience in all aspects of servicing commercial accounts (proposals, marketing, coverage review, billing, endorsements, certificates, etc.)
  • Have the confidence and demeanor to effectively interact with all levels within the organization
  • Competencies in product knowledge, systems, and procedures
  • Excellent, effective, and diplomatic communication skills
  • Strong ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Ability to be flexible and help with any business need that arises
  • Hold an industry designation
  • AMS360 experience is preferred
  • A college degree is a plus, but a high school diploma or GED required
  • Valid Property and Casualty license
