Position Summary:
Custom Weatherization is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative to be a driving force behind our company's growth and market expansion. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire sales process, from initial contact to project execution. We need someone who can build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams while upholding our company's policies and values.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, customers, and local stakeholders through various communication channels.
- Ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of sales and order data, adhering to company standards.
- Participate in Pre-Bid events and review customer purchase orders for accuracy.
- Collaborate with the COO to review pricing strategies and align them with customer quotations.
- Evaluate orders based on performance to measure profitability.
- Monitor and manage our electronic Work Order management system effectively.
Accountabilities & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Meet monthly sales targets and acquire new clients consistently.
- Achieve weekly targets for lead contacts and bid submissions.
- Conduct daily reviews of Customer Bid Boards and Purchase Orders.
- Attend Pre-Bid events as required.
- Participate in quarterly pricing reviews.
- Maintain accurate Sales Order Data Tracking on a weekly basis.
- Ensure ongoing maintenance of the electronic Work Order management system.
Job Qualifications:
- BPI Certification is a plus but required
- Basic Knowledge of HVAC and Insulation
- Bachelors degree in business administration preferred but no required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales (B2C or B2B), Customer Service, or Direct Sales.
- Understanding of Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday (7 am - about 5 pm)
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Work Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods, use hands and fingers, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional standing and walking.
- Enter small tight spaces
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Basic carpentry Knowledge
- Self-motivated and dedicated
- Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday (7 am - about 5 pm)
- Proficiency in English (a plus but not required)
- Professionalism at all times
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces
- Fluent in English with excellent language, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Physically active, capable of exerting up to 40 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently.
General Requirements:
- Ability to adapt to various scenarios and interpret instructions effectively.
- Strong math skills and the ability to comprehend technical journals and manuals.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
