Job Description:

Serves customers in person, over the phone and via E-mail by selling metal stock products, meeting customer needs.

Prospecting/cold calling new customers

Hourly Plus Commission

Job Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

Demonstrate consistency, reliability and a willingness to learn

Answering phones

Excellent telephone sales execution

Communicating with E-mail

Other Sales and Office related tasks as needed

Making out calls to prospective customers

Manage and maintain current customer base

Ability to identify customer needs proactively with a sense of ownership and care when handling those needs.

Verifying all customer purchase orders and creating sales order to match.

Communicating with other departments openly.

Entering notes in CRM of all activities with prospects and current customers

Follow-up with open quotes.

Ability to call vendors for pricing and buy out as needed for customer special orders.

Staying up-to-date with pricing and inventory stock levels

Competencies:

Customer service skills a must.

Metal Sales experience

Teamwork is essential

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve

Computer knowledge required

Metal Product and Industry knowledge/Experience

Accuracy is a critical trait

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 45 per week
