Rapid Pump & Meter Services Co., Machinery Services Co. have been providing comprehensive municipal and industrial services for over 47 years in the New Jersey, New York Metro region. Our valued team members service equipment in the industrial, municipal water and wastewater, as well as transportation and other sectors.

This is a full time position located in Wall Twp., New Jersey.

Requirements:

Experience in rotating equipment field sales and accessories

Develop quotes and detailed proposals.

Ability to design, select and size equipment

Professionally interact with customers and vendors

Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills.

Accurate and consistent attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Analyze plans and specifications

Gather competitive cost proposals for all materials, services and subcontractor work detailed within the final bill of materials. Compile estimate sheet for use by purchasing department complete with scope and lead times.

Coordinate with the project team, to manage customer expectations and deadlines.

Project tracking and budget recording responsibilities.

Request pricing, purchase and track deliveries for materials and equipment associated with each project.

Troubleshoot field layout issues.

Analyze equipment sizing, field startup procedures and systems operations.

Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.

Familiarity with CRM database for clients management

• Knowledge and adherence to job site safety. (OSHA)

Engineering degree preferred or have a Bachelors Degree in a technical field or 5 years of direct technical sales experience in lieu of degree

Valid Drivers License required.
