Custom stone countertop company seeking an individual to work in a Marble and Granite Showroom. Design / Estimating / Sales experience a plus. A successful candidate will have the ability to represent our company by providing excellent customer service with a positive & professional attitude.

• As our company does no marketing, we rely on word of mouth, which is why we must provide exceptional customer service before and after an order is placed. Customer satisfaction is what sets us apart from other companies. Rock Tops strives to make each job, big or small, a painless process with remarkable results.
• Learning how to and being able to guide customers to materials and design ideas that may work for their project is an essential role in the position of sales associates.
• Sales associates work with not only customers, but also designers, contractors, builders, and material distribution representatives to assist customers in determining the needs for the project as well as how to obtain them.
• As a significant majority of our customers are return customers, we are looking for somebody who would be able to maintain professional relationships with customers over long durations of time.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in the showroom.
• Communicating with customers about their project while noting their selections & job information.
• Relying customer information to pricing department.
• Marking materials as sold.
• Ordering samples.
• Answering the phone.
• Scheduling showroom appointments.
• Answering general questions from customers.
• Process POS purchases.

Skills

• Ability to use excel and outlook.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly demeanor and a focus on customer service.
• Patient and understanding attitude.
• Preferably having past experience in sales, reception, or clerical work
• Ability to learn propriety software

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 to 4:00PM. Pay is based upon experience. We offer Health Insurance, Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off and a Retirement Plan
