Community Wholesale Tire, one of the Midwests largest family owned and operated tire distributors, is searching for a Territory Manager for the Southern Missouri and Illinois area to support and develop business relationships with local car dealerships.

Founded in St. Louis in 1935, the company has achieved sustained growth throughout the years while never sacrificing its commitment to best-in-class customer service. Community Tire has five distribution centers. We serve a large and diverse network of tire retailers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain outstanding levels of customer service and continued rapport with current and potential customers for future growth opportunities.

Achieve successful outcomes through application of consultative sales process, relationship based, providing solutions to business problems.

Determine customer requirements for new products and services and introduce new products to on-going accounts.

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company products and outstanding levels of customer service.

Keep customer current with updated pricing, promotional and marketing information.

Maximize sales opportunities through sales calls (primarily personal visits and some telephone calls).

QUALIFICATIONS:

3 + years experience in business management, operations and/or sales.

Experience working with/in car dealer service departments a plus.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to cultivate business relationships.

Strong communication skills.

Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strategic thinker who understands the retail sales process.

Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.

Successfully pass pre-employment drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
