Position objective:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing strong and trusted relationships with new and existing customers. The Key Account Manager will promptly respond to all customer inquiries. He/She will work closely with internal teams to ensure the best outcomes for our customers. A successful candidate will have a self-starting attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an aptitude for building relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for increasing truck rentals through existing customer base and prospecting for new customers
- Clearly communicate Barco's service and rental offerings to our customers
- Assist with developing a prospecting plan to connect with new potential customers
- Utilize CRM to support and drive optimal results
- Ensure elite responsive customer service
- Attend to customer inquiry and service needs
- Clearly explain the rental costs and the customer's overall responsibility for acceptance and return of rental trucks
- Aligns customer service activities and initiatives to support and enhance business objectives
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation to customer accounts through strong verbal and written communication
- Assist with any other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in Account Management
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Results driven and proactive, strong desire to own and execute area of responsibility with excellence
- Proficient with Microsoft office platforms (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Daily use of Dynamics CRM
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Problem solver/solution driven
- Highly organized and good time management
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability/flexibility to change as company requires
Supervision: Yes
Languages: English fluency required
Training/Education required: Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience required: Minimum 3 years' experience in Customer relations/Account Management; auto, truck, or equipment rental experience a plus
Hours of work: Monday - Friday
