Full description of the position

Job description

Sales Administrators provide essential support for the sales team, and are responsible for the efficient handling of sales orders, purchase orders, invoicing, and daily administrative duties. This department will split responsibilities with other administrators. The primary responsibility for this position will be to enter and maintain new truck warranty programs with our manufacturers. This position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to interact effectively with our technicians, customers, suppliers, and sales team. Candidates must be skilled in time-management, ability to work independently, multi-task, prioritize and plan work accordingly. Experience in the material handling market and related industries desirable.

Responsibilities

- Warranty installs on equipment with the factory/vendor.

- Creating, receiving, processing & maintaining purchase orders.

- Generate pick tickets & delivery/shipping documents.

- Generate/Process invoices for all sales transactions, credit memos/debits, and returns.

- Quote/Process for Accounts on equipment: request lead times, freight quotes, & provide pricing for quotes, responding to RFQs, follow up with account, invoice internally and with accounts.

- Update various spreadsheets (Inventory/Purchase Orders/Invoicing).

- Review and confirm vendor invoices for payment before forwarding to Accounts Payable.

- Back up Sales Administrators.

- Organize and maintain all paperwork involved.

- Maintain interdepartmental communication.

- Any and all additional duties assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), and ERP systems preferred.

- Relevant work experience in Material Handing industry required.

- Candidates must be organized and comfortable on the phone.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Enviroment

- Mainly office based, some walking required.

Physical Requirements

- Must be able to follow procedure and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.

- Ability to prioritize and act with flexibility required.

- Must be able to maintain cordial and friendly demeanor throughout high volume of phone calls, both inbound and outbound.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
