Aspex is a significant global distributor of high-quality eyewear and sunwear, serving diverse markets across North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe.

We are seeking entrepreneurial individuals in Arizona to become exclusive business partners with Aspex. This role offers an exciting opportunity to promote and sell premium eyewear products, thereby expanding Aspex's footprint in independently owned and multi-location optical retail offices.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of B2B Outside Sales/Territory Business Sales Experience. Training provided for the right candidate eager to enter the industry. (Prior experience in Eyewear or Optician sales is a plus, but not necessary.)
• Proficiency in customer-focused solution selling techniques.
• Outstanding listening and communication skills, customer-centric approach.
• Effective time management skills and openness to coaching.
• Experience in training optical staff on product knowledge, supporting offices with marketing materials, and enhancing patient satisfaction.
• Ability to motivate others to sell Aspex products.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM databases. (Responsible for maintaining and updating client contact databases and ensuring consistent follow-up.)
• Capable of carrying and lifting sample bags weighing up to 50lbs.

What Aspex Offers to Independent Contractors:

• Competitive commission pay and bonus opportunities.
• Monthly commission base fee, commissions plus potential bonus usually equivalent to around $54k - $100k annually. (A testament to why many representatives remain in the industry for decades.)
• First year earnings estimate is $54k - $73k if one properly cares for current accounts in conjunction with hunting / closing new business.
• Ongoing training and support.
• Bi-weekly funds toward expenses. (Total package based on experience/market, potentially exceeding industry standards.)

Schedule:

• Flexible; must align with shop operating hours.
• Occasional attendance at international trade shows or local marketing events may be required.

Travel Requirement:

Independent Contractors are expected to travel up to 70% of the week to market themselves and our products.

Education:

College degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent acceptable.

License/Certification:

Clean Drivers License (Required)
