Sales Support Engineer

The Sales Support Engineer will be assisting in pre-sales. They are responsible for developing Bills of Materials by analyzing engineering drawings and specifications. They will provide pricing in support of all Jeron products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Provide take-offs of specified Jeron equipment quantities and station models from engineering blueprints and specifications to produce the projects Bills of Material estimates
• Analyze blueprints to determine allowable Cat-5 wiring details and lengths based on system capability
• Complete and submit competitive project bids to inside sales and contractors in accordance with established guidelines
• Focal point of communication with internal and field sales personnel
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

• BS Degree or equivalent in engineering, construction science or related field
• Detail-oriented and have a sound knowledge of low-voltage communication system operations
• Adept in reading building plans and demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
• Effective communication skills both verbally and written
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Knowledge of Nurse Call Systems a plus
