Full description of the position

Reservation sales is the primary role of this position. The focus is building relationships with potential guests to drive direct bookings. This includes helping the potential guest with finding the best home to fit their experience at Sea Scape Properties. Once the guest has made their reservation, they will have additional questions and sometimes concerns that you will be responsible for. The goal is to ensure they have a seamless experience during their stay. This can look like correspondence with additional departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and owner services.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with the potential guest to create bookings.
• Having a sense of urgency with all communication correspondence through phone, email, and text messaging
• Working with the supervisor on driving revenue sales via listening to call recordings, reviewing department KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and outbound calling initiatives.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Comfortable with challenging guest conversations.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong with organization and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of vacation rental area.
• Ability to ebb and flow with seasonal demands.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to adapt to software changes and implementations.
• Ability and availability to be on call and work after hours and weekends as
• scheduled/needed.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Previous Customer Service experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel.
